RadView Software on Monday plans to ship an upgrade of its software tool for testing the performance of Web applications.

WebLoad 6.0 includes a new visual script development environment, support for testing Web services, and automated-monitoring notification and performance tools, officials with the company said.

During test recording, WebLoad records all the actions and events that occur on the browser. During playback, events are executed in the same way that the browser would have executed them, enabling users to accurately emulate and test real Web user activities from any load platform.

WebLoad integrates with RadView's Web application-testing suite, including WebFT for functional and regression testing, and WebRM for collaborative testing.

WebLoad 6.0 has a starting price of $7,595.
